Concoction #1 Twisting Concoction

My Hair After Using My Homeade Twisting Concoction!

What You'll Need :

Jason Aloe Vera Gel
Castor Oil
Grapeseed Oil
Jojoba Oil
Tea Tree Oil
Empty Container

In an empty container add about 2 oz. of Jason’s Aloe Vera gel. A couple of nice size squirts of Castor oil. A couple of drops of the Grapeseed Oil and the Jojoba oil and one VERY SMALL drop of the Tea Tree Oil (Sorry, I don't really measure my ingredients). Then, mix together!

Your Results Should look like this!
(Your twisting concoction should be cream like in consistency. If the twisting concoction is separating or runny you need to add more Aloe Vera Gel. It should be nice, firm and smooth!)

I applied my twisting concoction to each individual section of my DRY hair as I do two-strand twists. The reason why I apply this concoction to dry hair is because I want my twists to be as stretched out as possible. Also, I have a very soft texture of hair and when you do twist on soft textures you have tendency to have major shrinkage as well as twists that don't hold up very long. And before you know it your hair looks like an afro! That sucks, especially when you've went through all the time and trouble of twisting it.  You don’t have to saturate the hair with this concoction because it is fairly thick and you don’t need a lot of it. While twisting pay special attention to your ends.  For best results let twists set overnight, untwist and rock your style!

Side note:
All these ingredients were purchased at Whole Foods.
Jason’s Aloe Vera Gel is actually for the skin. The reason I didn’t use regular Aloe Vera Gel is because it’s not quite thick enough. Most of the ingredients in Jason’s Aloe Vera Gel are natural and I feel it is totally safe for hair.
